Promoting the consumption of Spanish olives in the national market.
THE OLIVE CHALLENGE
Increasing the general knowledge about table olives in our target audience as a valuable ingredient in Spanish food. We had to change the perception about this product, which was until then seen as a simple snack.
Putting olives back into fashion as nature’s great culinary invention.
In order to change this perception, we set off to turn the snacking olive into the enjoyment olive, under the following concept: Reinventing olives.
The project is divided into two stages:
- The first stage, “The Olive Revolution”, allowed us to give prestige to the product and make it attractive in the hands of the most renowned chefs of the culinary world. Throughout this stage, five famous chefs came up with new dishes, featuring olives as the star.
- The second stage, “Crazy for olives”starts with the expansion of the reinvented olive to the top bars and restaurants in Spain. The best proposals were taken to over 2000 restaurants in order to take the new olive to the final consumer, thus turning the snacking olive into the enjoyment olive.
